The Board of Directors of The MedFund met on January 12, 2022 in videoconference, elected among its members Ms. Leila Chikhaoui Minister of Environment of Tunisia as President of the Fund.

I hope that the work will continue in the same way, with the same efficiency and satisfaction that have been so far for the success of The MedFund in its noble missions of protection of the Mediterranean,” said Ms. Chikhaoui from her offices in Tunis.

Ms. Chikhaoui succeeds His Excellency Mr. Bernard Fautrier, special advisor to HSH on environmental issues and administrator of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, who has chaired The MedFund for the past 3 years.

The French ambassador for the environment, Ms. Sylvie Lemmet, will be the vice-president of the Fund, H.E. Mr. Bernard Fautrier will be the General Secretary and Mr. Fabrice Bernard, European and International delegate of the Conservatoire du Littoral will be the Treasurer.

The directors thank H.E. Mr. Bernard Fautrier for the leadership and work done under his presidency.

In accordance with the statutes of The MedFund, the members of the board are elected for a period of 3 years.
